OBJECTIVES
Generally, this project aims to further improve the RSIS 3 for eventual nationwide deployment and operationalization.
As the technology emerge the project also provide additional real to near real data consolidation and results as providing great benefit for maximizing resources and taking advantage of current technology trend.
Providing transparency reliable and efficient platform for projects beneficiaries, such as promoting the usage of mobile applications and internetwork technology.
Specifically, it seeks:
a) To redesign and restructure the RSIS 3 addressing the identified needs, functionalities and requirements;
b) To pilot test and evaluate the performance of the RSIS in key areas of the country;
c) To further improve the RSIS after the performance evaluation during the beta testing; and
d) To formulate an operational and policy recommendations for integration (within PhilRice and BPI), deployment and sustainability of the RSIS.

Considering the potential reach of the mobile-based applications and report generation automated thru this project, rice seed growers/producers, seed inspectors, and provincial and regional seed coordinators, and the agencies they represent (both LGU and DA-RFO) would realize the benefit of timely and accurate information once adopted nationwide.
